I admit, when Vampire Weekend’s sophomore album Contra came out, I wasn’t its biggest fan. In retrospect this probably had everything to do with my love for the NYC based band’s debut album and very little to do with the musical content of its follow up. Lately, I have been giving it a big second chance, and have really been caught up in the vibe it gives off. Here’s to all those second chance listens.
