The closest I’ve ever come to a “religious experience” was listening to Cathedrals by Jump, Little Children while sitting alone in the vastness of Philadelphia’s SS Peter and Paul Basilica Cathedral after ducking in to get out of the rain. With arrangements both hauntingly beautiful and beautifully haunting Jump, Little Children is one of my go-to bands during quiet moments of introspection. Close Your Eyes is another of my favorite tracks off of the same album, 2004’s Magazine.
