Apologies in advance to the squeamish.

Recently I’ve started following fuckyeahmedicalstuff, the tumblr of a current medical student who plans on entering into surgery—as do I.  When you’re sitting in lecture and/or reviews for 6 hours straight learning about the differences between various Clostridium infections and the clinical signs of a compressed radial nerve—it’s “wrist drop” by the way—only to follow it up with 12 straight hours of studying it’s easy to lose sight of the big picture. But then I see stuff like this and I’m like, “Oh yea, that’s why youhave no life, drink minimum 3 cups of coffee a day, sleep 4-6 hours a night, and study for 16+ hours a day. Got it.”
