Here’s another Project 365 pic I took awhile back on a trip to visit some friends in Williamsburg, Brooklyn; an often described as the birth place of the new hipster movement and home to some great bands—MGMT, Matt & Kim, Yeasayer, & The Dirty Projectors to name a few. I wanted to capture this shot because, as a young twenty-something, I can totally relate to the message being displayed here. NYC is great, don’t get me wrong and I have a ridiculous time whenever I’m there, but for the price of two drinks in the city I can grab some beers, check out some art and catch a great band in Brooklyn. So while I love it, it’s like the poster says, I can’t always afford to “heart” NY.
