“I don’t need to know why the ocean’s blue or how the flowers grow. I don’t need to live waiting on someone to forgive me for my sins.” - City & Colour Recently two things occurred to me. The first was that I keep posting pictures from my Project 365, but I don’t believe I have ever explained the song lyrics. When I decided to start taking a picture every day for a year, I realized I would run out of ideas fairly quickly—sometime around day six, lets say. To combat that and keep myself motivated I decided to tie the project into music with each picture reflecting a set of lyrics I really like. Sometimes the quotes come first; sometimes the lyrics. It’s a work in progress. The second thing I realized was that, of late, most of my pics I’ve put up here have been black & white, so I decided to inject a little color into the 34th & Now bloodstream with this photo.
