Another front runner for best new band of 2010, Los Angeles’ indie rock band, Local Natives, has the indie scene abuzz. Their debut album Gorilla Manor—piled high with three part harmonies, and swelling crescendos—plays like a “Best Of,” despite being a first release and has drawn comparisons to work by The Arcade Fire, Fleet Foxes, and Vampire Weekend. “Who Knows, Who Cares” is one of my favorites off the album.
