I’d like to thank whoever put up this video of Mike Grubbs, better known as front man for Brooklyn’s own Wakey!Wakey!—or as Grubbs for those of you who watch One Tree Hill—performing a live cover of Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” 

As someone who loves going to concerts—whether it’s a sold out show at Madison Square Garden or a handful of people at Kung Fu Necktie—I have to say that my favorite part of live shows is when you see the artist/band really letting loose and having fun; after all, for them, performing is still a job. This is one of those moments.
