For fans of laid back, brooding, indie rock—think The National—I’d highly recommend Oklahoma band Other Lives. I was recently introduced to them by my girlfriend and I already see them becoming a staple in my studying playlists. Their sophomore album, Tamer Animals, was released this past May and is very, very solid. It’s the kind of album that begs to be played sometime after 8pm while you drink some wine and reflect.
