The Smith Westerns are a lo-fi, indie, garage-rock outfit out of Chicago. They just released, “Weekend,” the lead off single for their sophomore album, Dye It Blonde—due out January 18th on Fat Possum. The track features an awesome opening guitar riff and has a Britpop meets laid-back West Coast feel.
