Don’t remember what I was watching that this popped up as a related video on Youtube, but this cover of Gorillaz “Feel Good Inc.” by Dustin Prinz is…just watch it. Not only does he kill it on the acoustic guitar but he manages to play and sing the rapping verse part—which have totally different melodies. Oh, and he kind of sounds like Jack Johnson, so there’s that.

Sirius XM’s Alt-Nation is a great resource for finding new bands and keeping up to date with the latest in indie and alternative rock. Like many radio stations, Alt-Nation hosts a year-end countdown of songs, but unlike many stations, the “Alt 18 for 2010” are voted on entirely by the fans. Since I know a lot of people don’t have Sirius XM, I figured I’d rehash the list here with links to the songs so you can listen on your own time. Enjoy. Alt Nation Top 18 of 2010  18.
